Gabby Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected, used, and processed by Gabby ("we," "us," or "Gabby")—the operator of the Gabby social platform, including the Gabby App, the official website, and all associated services (collectively, the "Gabby Services").

This Policy governs our handling of personal information from "users"—including visitors to the Gabby Services, registered account holders, and anyone who interacts with the Gabby platform. By accessing or using the Gabby Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy.

What Information We Collect

We obtain information about you when we provide the Gabby Services. We need certain types of information to provide the Gabby Services to you.

User-provided Information

You may choose to provide personal information when using the Gabby Services (e.g., registering an account, creating content, or contacting support). This includes account registration information (e.g., date of birth for age eligibility, phone number or email, password), profile information (alias, profile photo, self-introduction, etc.), user-generated content (messages, photos, text you post or send), and correspondence with support.

Automatically Collected Information

We may collect information such as usage activity, device identifiers, approximate location (e.g., based on IP or SIM region), and cookies or similar technologies where necessary for the operation and improvement of the Gabby Services, in accordance with applicable law.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to: provide and improve the Gabby Services; manage your account and provide customer support; communicate with you; review content to comply with applicable regulations; customize content and experience; ensure functionality and security; and comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with our corporate group where necessary for the above purposes. We may disclose information to service providers who perform services on our behalf, and to regulators or law enforcement where required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing.

International Data Transfers

Your personal information may be processed outside your country. We implement appropriate measures to ensure your data remains protected when transferred to jurisdictions with different levels of data protection.

We take appropriate administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard your personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password and account. We cannot fully eliminate security risks; use caution when submitting information.

You can manage cookies via your browser, opt out of push notifications via device settings, and adjust privacy settings in the app. You may access, correct, or delete your information through your profile and account settings, subject to applicable law.

Children Safety

Users must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. We do not intentionally collect personal information from users under 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Please see our Child Safety Policy for more.

Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as you maintain your Gabby account. You may request deletion of your account at any time through the app (e.g., Settings > Account > Delete Account). After deletion, we will remove your data except where we must retain it for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the Gabby Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

How to Delete Your Account

For the safety of your account management, we provide a quick delete account function in the App. You can click Account Settings in the App Settings to view the Delete Account option. After clicking, you can follow the prompts to guide the user to delete the account.

For the security of your account property, after you confirm the deletion of account information, you will log out and we will keep your account for 7 days. Within 7 days, you can log in again at any time to retrieve your account and keep all account information. After more than seven days, we will delete all your account data and it cannot be retrieved by any means. If you have uninstalled the app, you can fill in your relevant information and submit an application here.
